Your Self Care Sunday Ritual.

‘It’s so much easier to maintain physical, mental, emotional and spiritual good health than regain it.’

- Megan Larsen, Sodashi Founder.

Self care is the key ingredient to maintain good health and live a full, vibrant life. When we take time out for ourselves, we have more to give back to those around us. There's no better day than Sunday to set aside some time to wind down and replenish for the new week ahead. We’ve put together some of our favourite self-care tips to boost your mind, body, and soul this Sunday.

1. Take a walk in Nature

Nature serves as a refuge to inspire, reflect, and heal. By moving our bodies in Nature we give ourselves time to clear our minds and reset for the week ahead. A quick 20-minute walk may be all you need to refresh your mind.

 2. Practice mindfulness

Mindfulness is simply the ability to bring your attention back to the present moment. Through acts of mindfulness, we can learn how to be fully present and engaged in the moment, which helps us to become aware of our thoughts and feelings without distraction or judgment.

How can I practice mindfulness?

  • Through meditation
  • Practicing Yoga
  • By observing your breath
  • Paying attention to your surroundings

3. Learn something new

Knowledge surrounds us. Every day is a new opportunity to learn and expand our minds. Books, podcasts, documentaries are all great tools for brain stimulation and expand our knowledge. Some Sodashi favourites at the moment;

To watch: David Attenborough - Life on our planet

To read: Robin S. Sharma - The Monk who sold his Ferrari

To listen: @seize_the_yay Podcast

4. Nourish your body

We are currently loving this Get Glowing Smoothie Bowl Recipe by Carla Oates, Founder of The Beauty Chef.

5. Have a spa moment

We all know the lovely refreshing feeling when you leave the day spa post-facial. Whilst we may not have time to visit the spa you can recreate the experience with our Brightening Marine Mineral Mask.
